SECOND PUBLICITY BLURB
Spontaneous movement has vanished
from the neoliberal environment that society
has now (undeniably) become.
Five representatives of five established actors companies,
some no longer in existence,
deal with this anti-sloganesque falsification.
Five upper waiters pass through the limp wall, resonate in the brand new space
and serve up a cacophonous echolalia.
We start anew.
FIRST PUBLICITY BLURB
Sat 3 June 06 → 12.00, Damiaan, Peter, Matthias, Willem, Gillis meet in Amsterdam to write publicity blurb, 14.30, all very pleased, Mon 5 June 06 → Willem calls Gillis about publicity blurb, serious doubts but no alternative, Gillis calls Matthias about Willem’s serious doubts and in the meantime also his own, Tue 6 June 06 → Gillis calls Peter to voice doubts about publicity blurb felt by Willem, Matthias and self, Peter mulls them over and says: yes, yes, yes, yes, Damiaan calls Gillis and asks to send the meanwhile rejected publicity blurb to Karolien at the STAN office, Gillis calls Karolien to tell her a new publicity blurb is in the making, Wed 7 June 06 → meeting set for Friday 11.30 by Willem, Gillis, Matthias to prepare new publicity blurb, Thur 8 June 06 → Matthias changes Friday meeting from 11.30 to 10.30 because of other obligations, Fri 9 June 06 → 10.30 terrace Café De Zwart, Gillis suggests new publicity blurb, also rejected, 11.30, new publicity blurb, Matthias, Willem, Gillis extremely positive, Gillis calls Peter and Damiaan, Damiaan still very pleased with first publicity blurb, Sat 10 June 06 → new proposal for publicity blurb mailed to Peter and Damiaan with heading immediate decision required, Mon 12 June 06 → delivery date publicity blurb to Frascati Theatre, Matthias hands over drawing to Gillis on the bridge on the corner of Vijzelstraat and Prinsengracht, Gillis scans drawing for publicity blurb, Gillis mails text publicity blurb and drawing to STAN and De KOE, Tue 13 June 06 → publicity blurb sent to Frascati Theatre, Mon 19 June to Sun 25 June 06 → rehearsals Haarlem, Mon 26 June to Tue 11 July 06 → rehearsals Antwerp, Wed 12 July to Sat 15 July 06 → performances Onomatopee Antwerp, rehearsal space De KOE , Tue 12 to Sat 16 Sept 06 → performances Onomatopee Amsterdam, Frascati 2
