Ten years after their separation, the actor couple from the play Lucia Melts are back together. Sara and Steven have decided to leave each other entirely free within their relationship, they mean to achieve the opposite of jealousy.
One evening, after the theatre academy has mysteriously burned down, Sara comes home with a young actress, Maya. Initially the man and woman warm towards her youthful artlessness, but in the course of the evening Maya becomes a blazing fire that seems to destroy their love.
The couple, who see their own past reflected in the young actress, rebel against her. The fire flares up dangerously. The two become a ferocious forest fire that will ultimately devour young Bambi.
