Intellectual property rights
The content of this website, including the brands, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, etc, are protected by intellectual property rights and belong to STAN, its members or rightful third parties.
STAN adheres to the privacy legislation under the applicable laws and legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018. As the theatre company STAN VZW, we are responsible for processing your personal data. Why do we process personal data?
STAN processes your personal data for the following purposes and under the following legal grounds:
- to send you newsletters and invitations so that you are aware of our activities and to promote said activities to you.
- for the purpose of participating in the activities of STAN, in the event that we are responsible for arranging them, such as in-house presentations, shows that we host, etc.
- for obtaining subsidies from the authorities.
We can request and collect the following personal data for the above purposes:
- Personal identity details: name, given name, address, telephone number, email.
- Personal preferences: language.
We use the collected data solely for those purposes for which we obtained it. In other words, you shall not receive our newsletters unless you consented to the receipt thereof.
Provision of data to third parties
We could transmit the data that you provide to us to third parties if such is necessary for fulfilling the purposes set out above.
In that respect, we use third parties for:
- providing the internet environment (webhosting);
- hosting and storing data (cloud);
- providing IT infrastructure (inter alia, the IT network);
- providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.
We shall never provide personal data to parties with which we have not concluded a processing agreement. STAN does not retain personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or for longer than is required by law. If you have stated that you wish to receive newsletters from us by email, we shall retain your data until the time that you unsubscribe.
Your rights in respect of your personal data
You have the right to access the personal data that we receive from you a well as the right to have it corrected or erased. Our contact details in this respect can be found at the top of this privacy declaration.
At the bottom of the newsletter there is a link that allows you to easily unsubscribe.
You can object to the processing of your personal data or a part thereof by us or by one of our data processors.
You also have the right to demand that we transmit the data you provided to us either to yourself or, at your instructions, directly to another party. We could request that you provide valid identification before we comply with this request.
